					<description>such a true post.  i too have played many, many hours of poker and yet if you look at the poker statistics online i'm up about $2500 on SNG's and MTT's.  i've probably lost more playing cash than won.  so i figure i'm up about $2000 the last two years.  now if you add up the hours i've played in the last 2 years, i'm probably making about $1 an hour.  

so in other words, if i want to make real money outside of my main job i should get a part time job delivering pizzas or working at home depot.  

therefore, i've learned more to play for the enjoyment of the game rather than the payouts.  if you start chasing the bigger payouts, you usually only end up losing more.  you start forcing plays, etc.  maybe that's why i don't keep stats on myself.  if i did, i would feel too much pressure to win (and i'd end up doing worse).  instead, i play for fun and just try to avoid the bad streaks.</description>
